Submission Guidelines

If your photograph is chosen you will be contacted by email and given further instructions on how to send us the highest resolution photo available for the final project.

For uploading to the website we will accept any of the following approved file types with a minimum size of 2 Megapixels - gif, jpg, jpeg, png and bmp.

The file names must end in one of the above extensions. If they do not, the upload will fail immediately with an error message.

In addition to the correct file extension, the internal file type embedded with the image must be one of the supported types. If your file doesn't end with one of the above extensions you can try converting it into a supported file type by using a graphic/image or video editor and save it to a new file with the correct file type extension.

We convert bmp files to jpg format. The bmp format is an uncompressed file type and not appropriate for the web, so we will convert them for you should your submission be accepted.

Please note: Due to the high volume of submissions, we will be unable to contact you if your photograph is not chosen.
